eye beam

When walking, I see stuff that I’d miss in a car, bus or plane. Here for instance.DSC_0398.jpg

You’ve seen this before … perhaps two weeks ago.

How about this one?

Just in case you need help: water at the borrom, then an ambankment, on which is a walking path, covered by a vehicle overpass.

A strange one below. An old log split possible from heat or cold, maybe from pressure or a bump. But the lines are nearly poetic.

Next is one of my favorite photos this fall. So glad I saw it.

“I think I’ll take a walk,” I said to the B and B host. Here is what I saw.

One more, OK?  This one is not from a car or bus or plane, but on a walk.

  1. Some stunning “observations”, Dan. The one of the tow path/bridge is my favorite. I think that is the bridge over Michigan Road???

We loved hiking in Indianapolis. When we first moved to Indy we lived off of 38th and Guion. Our favorite hikes were the Art Museum grounds and the tow path, from there-both north to the Butler campus and south toward downtown. We also loved hiking downtown-especially on a summer evening. There was, also, the biking/hiking trail north of Broad Ripple. When we moved to the east side, off of Post Road, we hiked Fort Ben almost weekly.

So, your many entries of these areas are greeted with much nostalgia-at our household. Thanks 🙂
